We are happy to announce that we are now open and booking appointments with the safety and well-being of our patients and staff at the forefront of our minds.

We have revised safety measures, enhanced cleaning schedules and new treatment guidelines being put into place so that you can come to see us for your treatment with peace of mind.

Please bear in mind that there is a waiting list for appointments and be patient with us as we make every effort to fit you in as soon as possible.

Please see our appointments page if you would like information on how to make an appointment.

For your information, we’ve included a summary of our new procedures below:

  • Appointment times will be staggered to reduce interaction and allow extra time for cleaning procedures.

  • At the time of your appointment you will be invited into the reception area and will have your temperature taken with a non-contact infra-red thermometer to ensure you do not have a mild fever.

  • The staff at the clinic will be wearing PPE items for both your and their protection.

  • You will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided on entering the waiting room.

What you can do to help us:

  • Please leave bags and coats in your vehicle where possible.

  • If you have access to a face mask please wear this to your appointment. One can be provided but there is limited stock so we may have to add a small charge for these.

  • Unless you require a chaperone (due to being a minor, requiring assistance or translation) please attend the clinic alone as all family and friends will have to remain outside the clinic.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment as you will need to stay outside the clinic reception until your appointment time so that we can keep necessary cleaning and social distancing measures in place.

  • Please ensure you bring the correct money for payment. We do not accept card payments at this time.

  • Finally,  please monitor yourself for any covid 19 symptoms, which can include:

    • Fever

    • Dry cough

    • Fatigue

    • Headaches

    • Loss of taste and/or smell

Osteopathy is a “hands on” treatment, and therefore close personal contact is to be expected.  As we’ve explained above, we are taking all the relevant hygiene precautions that we can to minimise any risk to our patients. However, if you are in the vulnerable or shielded group, or live with someone who is, you may wish to discuss your individual circumstances before making an appointment.

We understand that these procedures will take some time to get used to and that you may still have questions so please do not hesitate to contact us if you would to discuss anything further.

Thank you for your understanding, we hope to see you soon!
